[5] Bukhari :: Book 1 :: Volume 11 :: Hadith 677 Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet (Sal-Allahu Alayhi Walehi Was-Sallam) said, "When I start the prayer I intend to prolong it, but on hearing the cries of a child, I cut short the prayer because I know that the cries of the child will incite its mother's passions." Call to Prayers (Adhaan) Bukhari :: Book 1 :: Volume 11 :: Hadith 653 Narrated Malik bin Huwairth: We went to the Prophet and we were all young men and stayed with him for about twenty nights. The Prophet was very merciful. He said, "When you return home, impart religious teachings to your families and tell them to offer perfectly such and such a prayer at such and such a time and such and such a prayer at such and such a time. And all the time of the prayer one of you should pronounce the Adhan and the oldest of you should lead the prayer." </div>
